Tallahassee's July Rock Round Up

July has been a rockin' month in the Capital City!

Earlier this month, we were on the scene at Tallahassee Harley-Davidson for the JINGLE JAM Battle of the Bands. It was a fun Christmas-in-July event raising for Champ's Chance, a local dog adoption agency. Four local bands battled it out for a cash prize and the opportunity to play at Tallahassee Harley-Davidson's Bike Night in September. We got to enjoy great performances from ElevenOFive, Stoneheads, Fated To Burn, and Falls Chase! Stoneheads were the winner of the judge's vote, while Falls Chase won the fan vote. Congrats!

I also got to see my first show at the new Club Down Under in FSU's Student Union. A very cozy and intimate venue hosted performances from The Boku Boys featuring Raquel Lily, and FSU alumni Sofia Camille. If you haven't yet taken in a show at the new Club Down Under, I highly recommend it!

And most recently, Legacy At The Riverfront hosted a big night of rock featuring five kick-ass bands, Defy The Tyrant, Actus Reus, CoffinSlide, Tragic, and Gila. It's always a great night of rock at Legacy At The Riverfront!

If you missed any of these shows, be sure to check out our FB or IG pages for pics and some short videos. And if you see us out and about at any shows in the future, be sure to come say hi! You never know, we may have a sweet X101.5 t-shirt or coozie for you! Keep rocking, Tallahassee!
