Jared has lived in Tallahassee for almost 20 years! He's a proud FSU alumni and HUGE supporter of all things FSU!
Jared was inspired to be in radio from a very young age after his parents introduced him to the soundtrack to the film "Good Morning, Vietnam!" starring Robin Williams. "I didn't even know at the time it was a movie! I just thought this guy on the radio was hilarious and I wanted to do it, too!" Jared says. He was also heavily influenced by Howard Stern's "Private Parts" and X1015's very own Lex & Terry.
Jared got his start in radio with FSU's student-operated station, V89. Jared cut his teeth in the news and sports departments while also picking up DJ shifts, playing some of the most obscure music from across the globe.
Jared has been working in local Tallahassee radio for 15+ years and has had the pleasure of working with many local businesses during that time.
Jared has a passion for a wide variety of music styles but especially ROCK! Some of his favorite artists include Metallica, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince, and Green Day just to name a few.
Some of Jared's other passions are college football, video games, pro wrestling, theme parks, and spending way too much money to take over the jukebox at the bar.
Jared has a love for animals, especially dogs. He will never not pet a good dog. (with permission!)
