South Florida Remembers 9-11

9-11 Remembrance Ceremonies have been taking place throughout South Florida today marking the 24th anniversary of the terror attacks in New York, Washington, DC and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

At Pembroke Pines' ceremony at the Charles F. Dodge City Center Memorial Park, Vice Mayor Mike Hernandez said we still have to come together.

Another ceremony was held at the memorial inside Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Another was held at the Fort Lauderdale Fire and Safety Museum.

In Miami-Dade County, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the Sheriff's Office and Southern Command held a ceremony at Tropical Park.

The City of Miami Fire Rescue also paused outside City Hall for its ceremony.

Pompano Beach will hold its remembrance ceremony this evening at Founders Park.
