Nickelback has taken on the Terminator after Arnold Schwarzenegger came after them in a new video and tweet discussing the current unpopularity of the U.S. Congress.
In a video clip posted on attn: pushing for redistricting reform, Schwarzenegger said, "Here are some of the things that are more popular than Congress: hemorrhoids, Nickelback, traffic jams, root canals, colonoscopies, herpes. Even herpes, they couldn't beat herpes in the polls."
In a related tweet, Schwarzenegger wrote, "When Congress is less popular than herpes & Nickelback, how do 97 percent of them get re-elected? Gerrymandering."
That led the band to respond, "Approval rate this: Batman & Robin. Please leave us out of your future wisdom drops. Danke Shön Herr Governator."
Schwarzenegger replied: "That's . . . ice cold. I hope we can agree that we need a freeze on gerrymandering, guys. Thanks for the reply."
