One person is dead after a crash near Lion Country Safari overnight.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says a car and a scooter collided along Southern Boulevard just after 3 a.m. Monday.
The person driving the scooter died at the scene. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital, but their condition is unknown.
The roadway had closures through the morning rush hour but all lanes reopened around 9:30 a.m.
