Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band opened their show in Melbourne, Australia Saturday with a special guest, Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder, who is on a solo acoustic tour Down Under. As he did in Adelaide and Perth, Springsteen -- joined by Vedder -- kicked things off with AC/DC's "Highway to Hell."

Vedder, who returned later in the set for "Darkness on the Edge of Town," has done numerous performances with Springsteen in the past, most recently in 2012 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The respect is mutual -- Springsteen caught a Pearl Jam show several months ago.

It was Springsteen's second concert in Melbourne in less than a year, and he presented a very different show. He told the audience, "We didn't want to do the same thing twice... We've done this in Europe and the States, but never here: We're gonna do the Born in the U.S.A. album start to finish."

The next night, also in Melbourne, the audience got another start-to-finish treat -- Springsteen played the Born to Run album in its entirety.
